Ganesha Series

Happy Ganesh Chathurthi to all. My daddy paints lots of Ganeshas and looking at that I also started liking Ganesha very much. I have painted many ganeshas and my first show (duo show with my dad) was on Ganesh Chathurthi Day in 2006. Below is an exclusive Ganesha Sketches done by me in a small spiral note pad. Investiture of student's council in A.M.M

Varuna has been selected the Jr. House Captain (Girls) for Nehru House today. Its a proud moment for us as the school celebrates its Silver Jubilee year.

My 3rd Show Duo Show with my Dad

On March 13th 2007, when my father Ap. Shreethar hosted a unique show on Ustad Dr. Zakir Hussain, titled 'Zakir Hussian in my Dreams" which was inaugurated by the Maestro himself in Chennai. Jointly I exhiited my abstract strokes on ustadji and our Tabela Maestro appreciated my paintings. He autographed them. When I showed my 1st International Award for my painting he showed it to all and gave his blessings. After that I have never missed to meet him during his visits to Chennai for consorts.

During one such occassion I showed him my next award "Youngest Corel Certified Designer", again he showed to all his fans in his green room and congratulated me. He is a great musician and a humble Person. I love Zakirji. I consider that I am very fortunate to pay tribute to him by my drawing. I admire his humility and thank him very for his encouragement

My Early Days

I am drawing since the age of 2 1/2 and my parents did not think of them as just scribbles, but scribbles with balanced color schemes, fearless strokes, expression of her zeal for art. That striked them to posses each scribble of mine very carefully. I slowly inherited the mechanism of assimilating color & composition, from my father. Now I have specialized in drawing Abstract form of Ganesha, Landscapes, Mother and Child, Cartoon Characters, Landscape & Sceneries, and recently dress designing for my imaginary characters . My favorite artists are Piccasso, Van Gogh, M.F. Hussain, Anjoli Ela Menon, Dhiraj Chowdry and the list goes on… as I get to know about more and more artists.

















I handle all media – Acrylic, Watercolors on board, canvass, Oil pastels, pencil and recently digital too. Apart from painting I also engages herself in other forms of art like – clay modeling, sand art, tile painting, glitter art, tube painting, digital art, Carnatic Vocal and keyboard playing.
I am an active participant in any painting competitions and in all school events. My Painting titled “Women” was published in the “Kaleidoscope” column of Hindu Young World on 14th July 2006. I won prizes among Top 5 winners during Mylapore Festival Painting Competition, in which one was live sketching of the Mylapore tank at the age of 6.
