Tiny Pixels is a digital art exhibition and is dedicated to revere the role of Technology in ART. The show consisted of paintings done in digital medium and printed using technology. Thiru P.C. Sreeram, ace Cinematographer & Director has kindly consented to be the chief guest for the occasion. Guest of Honors were director thiru. Pandiraj, Sriram and Kishore of Pasanga fame.

National Technology Day is a very special day for Indian science since 1999. It is so significant because India achieved a huge technological advancement on the day. The first, indigenous aircraft “Hansa-3” was test flown at Bangalore on this day. Not only this, India also performed successful test firing of the Trishul missile on the same day. India also executed three successful nuclear tests, carried out at Pokhran, in Rajasthan May 11.

8th Show - A painting movement

The one thing I am for is 'Love' and I hate is 'War'. I feel very sad when I see innocent people being killed in war, especially Children. On March 7,2009 there was a painting movement held in Chennai to request the world to Stop War and declare Peace. Eminent artists in Chennai participated in this and I felt blessed to be a part of it. Journalist Mr. Madhan was the chief guest of the Occasion and he appreciated my work. He complimented my Handwriting as well.

My 7th Show at Mangalore

My 7th show was a different experience for me. It was on the new year eve (dec.31.2008). Final Touch a renown gallery in Mangalore had organized a new year get together. It was an artistic way of welcoming the New Year by a live painting show. The evening was witnessed by crème de la crème. It was a duo show, as my father (artist Ap. Shreethar) also welcomed new year with his strokes.

It was an encouring crowd and I thank Ms. Prabha and Mr. Satish Kammath for giving us this wonderful oppurtunity. Mangalore is a place which is close to my mom's heart, as her mother tounge is Konkani. We went on a tour to temples around Mangalore, namely Mookambika Temple, Udupi Krishna Temple, Lord Subramanya Temple and a Ganesha Temple. We also went to coorg a beautiful coffee forest. I can never forget 31st December 2008.

Tribute to Ustad. Zakir Hussain

9th February 2009, is a day to be marked in the history of Indian music once again. Tabla Maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain was announced as part of the winning team behind the Global Drum Project - nominated under the Best Contemporary World Music Album category. Global Drum Project is the second collaboration between Hart and Hussain after their compilation Planet Drum which was released in 1991 and went on to win the first-ever Grammy Award in the World Music category.

21st february is a remarkable day for me as I took autograph from Zakirji once again. This painting was a tributary to him for winning "Grammy". He is a great musician and highly humane. He remembers every one's name he knows and calls them by name, even if we meet him after years. I feel fortunate to have known him. He remains youthful. Hope to see him soon.

"I LOVE YOU USTAD"

My 5th and 6th Show

My 5th show was held in my School (A.M.M. school, kotturpuram) on October 27, 2007. I am the first & youngest child to have held a solo painting exhibition in my school. This was an extension of my 4th show "Varuna's Hands on peace". My school teachers were impressed with my peace paintings and thus wanted the show to be held in school too. It was an open day and parents also visited the show.

It is an unforgettable day for me as I won recognition from my School. Thanks to my art teacher for his support.

My 6th show was also the same peace painting exhibition for Corel Corporation (International) on the event of their certificiation programe. On that day I recieved "Youngest Corel Designer" award and also 1st prize for my digital drawing. Yet another important day for me.

Fancy Dress Competitions

Dear Friends,

Art follows me like my shadow wherever I go and whatever I do. When I was in U.K.G for fancy dress competition I dressed up like M.F. Hussain and I painted a Ganesha in the assembly hall 'Live' for every one. (at the age of 5).

Then next year, in 1st standard, I dressed up like Monalisa and I spoke about her. I am posting those memoirs here. Hope you all will enjoy.

(hmm...after that I did not get a chance in fancy dress, bcos I am grown up it seems :( )

Live Sketching in Kerala

My Father has told me several times that I should try various styles and techniques of art if I have to be a Popular artist. During the summer vaccation in May'09 we went to allepey and I did live sketching of the scenery of the back waters. Kerala is truly 'God's own Country' and we stayed in a beautiful Island, which truly inspited me to draw. I started to sketch while we were in train itself seeing through the window and from my favourite Tinkle digest.
